Committed to preserving the art of classical ballet, enriching the community through the beauty of ballet, and impacting young lives through the discipline of dance
Artistic Director, Colleen Smith, founded Florida Classical Ballet Theatre (FCBT) in 2001 to give local artists and dance students the opportunity to perform in full-length classical ballet productions. Now a fixture in the art and culture community, the nonprofit 501(c)(3) dance company performs four full-length productions and invaluable community outreach programs throughout each performance season. FCBT is dedicated to enriching our local community and partners with other nonprofit organizations to spread the beauty of the arts, specifically the art of ballet.
